Hosts, Hilton & Bev Fothergill have lived here for 42 years and enjoy the benefits of the beautiful countryside. Enjoy a relaxing walk around the farm, or through the beautiful garden, which has an emphasis on both modern and classic roses.
At Fothergills, home-grown and home-made foods are a specialty with most being sourced from the vast vegetable garden and orchard.
Join us in the house for a delicious home-made breakfast featuring fresh garden goodies and our delightfully different preserves, or help yourselves in your own time from food provided in the unit. Seasonal fruit, biscuits and a variety of teas and coffee are always there for you. We specialise in offering Home Made wherever possible. Other meals can be provided, but must be pre-arranged. You can use the washing machine, barbecue and all the garden and outdoor areas. Sit on the deck and take in the views flowing out to the garden and farmland. Listen to tuis, bellbirds and other varied birdlife.
